A doctor who performed a surgery for 7 hours said that
he has done his best, but Choon Mi’s spine and nerve system got completely
broken and said that she has to live on a bed as paraplegia patient for rest
of her life. After hearing this, her mother wailed. People around her also cried
their hearts out, but believing that humans cannot cure but our God of Rapha,
who created human can cure her.
When we came back to church, we spread the news of her
to the prayers in all over the world. We asked them to pray for her. Durihana
family also prayed desperately for her, early morning and late evening. We hoped
for the miracle.
By the time when she moved to a general hospital room
from Intensive Care Unit, she couldn’t feel her lower body, and had obliteration.
Though, she never stopped smiling to people who came to see her and visited
her. She did not lose her faith that God will cure her.
Just after a week, the miracle brought back her memories,
and slowly made her right leg to move. On 10th day, Choon Mi made a surprising
confession, “Pastor, I remember Hebrews chapter 11
verse 6. ‘Without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who
comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly
seek him,’ and I believe that he will cure my legs.”
About a month ago, Choon Mi memorized ‘Hewbrews
11:6’, because of the proposal that whoever memorizes
it, in both Korean and English will receive a reward of 50,000 won($50.00).
She was one of them who memorized it and presented it. That bible verse became
a word of rhema and her left leg then started to move. Also she gave her testimony
of living God, that she personally met Jesus in her dream at that night.
Choon Mi was quiet, depressed and usually couldn’t get
along with other Durihana friends, but now she became bright and talks so much
that it almost sounds like glossolalia. She says “Thank you, I love you, You kept me warm” to
every person she meets. She is recovering surprisingly well and fast that makes
us to doubt about her fall from 9th floor. She is preparing to study in America
for 3 weeks, from 8 July till 26 July, as she planned before.
She is hoping to attend a Children’s day Sunday service
on 7 May and she is practicing to walk with her wheel chair to go to chruch.
Her last message and promise, “Let’s meet in Heaven”
became reality. We deliver news to those who worried about
her and prayed for her, that she is so happy and excited now. She confessed
that she also found it amazing that Jesus really answered to our prayer.
I once again ask for your prayer. Please pray for her
health to be recovered fully so that she can study English in America as planned.
Thank you, God. Thank you to all the brothers and sisters
of faith and prayers.
